On Saturday, December 7, 2024, a group of talented young musicians including Nevette and Vanna Turner participated in the Palm Beach County Music Teachers Association’s (PBCMTA) annual Musicthon at the Macy’s court in the Wellington Mall. This popular event brought together music students from across South Florida who volunteered to perform throughout the day, all in support of a worthy cause.
For 10 hours, the students played a variety of songs, showcasing their musical abilities while helping raise funds for The Grace Notes Music Foundation. The foundation is dedicated to funding music scholarships and providing community outreach programs for children in need, ensuring that young people have access to the benefits of music education.
The Musicthon is not only a celebration of music, but also a demonstration of the power of community and the importance of supporting arts education for underserved youth.
